Aggiungere un hub all'hub esistente

Ciao a tutti, ho 4 prese a muro con entrata ethernet e, nella stanza server, ho questi 4 fili (collegati alle prese delle 4 stanze) che sono collegati ad un HUB. Vorrei chiedervi, come posso "sdoppiare" una di queste prese in una di queste stanze? E' una cosa possibile? Io penso di no, ma fatemi sapere... cosa succederebbe se collegassi un hub ad una presa?
